Smart Recorder Classic - The Transcriber/Voice Recorder App Reviews

I have ordered and paid for this addition. Every time I go to use it, I get the "Trial has expired etc", I say I want to buy it, then I get the message I already purchased it. I keep trying to get it to download and it just doesnt happen. HELP !!!!!!!

Crashes a lot but missing key features like a button to rewind 10 secs (let me hear that again). And why do they keep releasing new versions instead of upgrading the old one or at least figuring out how to migrate existing paid clients to the new one?

For one hour Record , after 2 minute record cannot be played back

...If not THE best of the recorders out there. If the author makes the control buttons (tag, play, etc.) somewhat bigger and moves settings back into the application itself, its gonna be the finest of all the dictaphone/recorder apps in the appstore. Its free now - dont miss it!!! Support the author because you wont find any other recording app that good. (I have already purchased some of the "top" apps in that department and was mostly disappointed.)

On iphone 4 with IOS5 it does not work! It seems recording but if you try to play the saved recording no audio has been saved. Could you please fix it?

One of the worst app ever!! Horrible design. No chance.

Ive been using this app regularly for a long time and it works fine. I record many meetings and can multi task to other apps and it continues to record! It pauses when you receive a phone call but it warns you about it and then it resumes automatically!! I am able to export the audio and tags (notes) and post to our SharePoint ( Wmdows) site! It is just great!

Works great. Does a lot. I use it to record band practice, upload right to Dropbox, and everyone has the recordings. The only problem I sometimes have is that a recording will sometimes upload to Dropbox in a folder with two files in it. One of the recording and one of some other related file. I dont know why it sometimes does that but I still have the recording.

The app no longer rotates into Landscape mode. This makes my keyboard case useless for this app. The app used to work fine, so the latest update must have destroyed this very necessary feature. Very disappointed

I love it, just wish they didnt pester you to rate their app all the time.

I often use this app for meetings or to record my thoughts. I like the various export options.

Anyone else have trouble with the latest update? Ive downloaded it over and over but it still shows up in my updates available. Apparently it is not installing correctly.

I use this recorder quite a bit in church to record services for my personal need to re-listen to the messages. Other than the recent problem with the recorder I have not had a problem. Unless I am missing it, if I do not tag, how do I find a particular part in a message without listen to entire message again?

Smooth and very easy to use. I need to learn more about using an external microphone.

No way to adjust for ambient sound on auto pause (record only when sound occurs). I prefer Recorder Pro by DAVA.

Simple to use. Highly recommended!!!

I use it at karaoke ... I lets me hear if Im laying down on my words or I am needing a key change. Im getting better :-) ... So this recorder is good nough!

It closes every time I try to open a song I imported. Piece of junk.
